Thread protectors for drilling pipes
Set of Thread Protectors includes Box (for protection of the external thread) and Pin (for protection of the internal thread)
They are intended to protect the Conical Locking Threads of Drill String Elements, as well as TMK TDS Premium Locking Threads with Diameters of 53, 65 (NC 23), 66 (2 3/8 Reg), 73 (NC 26), 76 (2 7/8 Reg), 80, 81, 83, 86 (NC 31), 88 (3 1/2 Reg), 101 (3 1/2 FH), 102 (NC 38), 108 (NC 40), 117 (4 1/2 Reg) , 118 (NC 44), 121 (4 1/2 FH), 122 (NC 46), 133 (NC 50), 147 (5 1/2 FH), 152 (6 5/8 Reg), 161, 163 NC 61), 171 (6 5/8 FH) and 177 mm (7 5/8 Reg).
Protector Type Versions may be both plastic and metal-plastic (with metal shell) of various colors. There are also opened-type and closed-type protectors.
Technical Specifications of Thread Protectors are designed for Pipes with the Quality Level of PSL-1, PSL-2, PSL-3, taking into account the requirements for Drill Pipes API Spec 5D and API Spec 7.
